Lightest Double Stroller

Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for families who are constantly on the move. Lightweight and compact, with the ability to fold in one hand. The front suspension and all-terrain wheels as well as the multi-position reclining seat, can accommodate children weighing up 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents along with a large storage bin and 3-tier extended canopy with the ability to peek through the window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest marks in our tests of quality because it has a thin, hard plastic seat and a design which feels dated. It is also more expensive than other strollers with a lighter weight. This makes it a poor option for parents looking for an affordable option.
It's not the most light stroller but it has enough features to be worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make it easy for you to move it around flat surfaces. It also allows you to jump curbs with ease. The Cloud's low, almost knee-high handle is a downside. It's not adjustable and it's not adjustable. It's not comfortable to push your legs dangling in the air and it's also not helping that it's not padded.
In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and open. Close it is a little more difficult. You have to slide the slider before you press the large white button. This can be a hassle especially if you're trying to manage children while doing it.
The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that can fit a medium diaper bag. The basket is a bit small and you might have to put something in it to reach the back. The Cloud has a child and parent tray with two cup holders each, but they're both too narrow to comfortably hold larger bottles or cups.
The Kolcraft brand has been around since 1946, and is a third-generation, family-owned company. They started by making crib pads and diapers however, they now manufacture several baby products, including highchairs as well as infant car seats. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a lightweight and minimalist double stroller that is great for traveling. It's super light at just 18 pounds (lighter than some single strollers!) and can fold flat for easy transport and storage. It also has independently reclined seats, large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors that have windows that peek out and extra-large under-seat storage bags. The visors are adjustable to accommodate children of various heights. It also has a one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-sized certified.
The swivel wheel of the Jeep is also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. However, this stroller doesn't accept car seats so your kids must be 6 months old and have a solid neck control to be able to ride in the front seat. It does come with three panels of a nice sun canopy, however, and each seat has its own snack tray and cup holders for the parents.
Another stroller that is extremely light is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's narrower and smaller (26.5 inches wide!) It's packed with luxurious details that make it perfect for travel. It folds up easily and very easy to move around. It also is easily able to fit in the overhead compartments and trunks of airplanes.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's similar to Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but it has a few distinct distinctions. It's also slightly more expensive, but it has more maneuverability and the largest sun canopy. It also has a convenient carry strap and can accommodate kids up to 44 lbs per seat.
Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants
If you're looking for a stroller that is lightweight but also loaded with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not only crazy lightweight at just 13 pounds but also has plenty of storage in the form of child and parent cup holders, a child sippy-cup pocket, a parent storage pocket, and more. It is also compatible with a child's car seat and features a flip-flop-friendly brake that is easy to engage. It's designed to adapt to your child from a newborn stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months of age and up.
Another thing to take note of about this stroller is that it has swivel wheels and doesn't have any locking options therefore it may not be the best choice for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It's a great stroller for sidewalks that are paved and other smooth surfaces, however it's an excellent option for most families.
This is among the most compact and lightweight double strollers, with all-size features. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating that are available, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that's an ideal spot to nap. Its recline feature is easy to use, but it doesn't really go flat. Taller children may have a leg hanging when in the reclined position. It also has a big canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking the sun's rays than other options in our review of the top double strollers.
The stroller is light enough to navigate through door frames, which was a major problem for us with other strollers we tested. It folds easily and its handlebars sit close to the ground, making it easy carrying. The only drawback is its limited storage space, which is tight when stuffed with kids' toys.
